The Master observes the world but trusts his inner vision. If you don't trust the people, you make them untrustworthy. Because he has nothing to prove, people can trust his words. Open yourself to the Tao, then trust your natural responses; and everything will fall into place. She trusts people who are trustworthy. She also trusts people who aren't trustworthy. This is true trust. Humility means trusting the Tao, thus never needing to be defensive. When they no longer trust themselves, they begin to depend upon authority. Act for the people's benefit. Trust them; leave them alone.
